The Seven Flavor Herb (七味ハーブ Shichimi hābu) is a special plant that can be used as a very flavorful seasoning.
Description[]
Seven Flavor Herbs are very flavorful and can be made into a delicious soup stock when mixed with Sesame Chestnut. One such soup stock is one of the ingredients in Setsuno's Garlic Bird Oyakodon.
History[]
Century Soup Arc[]
After Komatsu and Toriko went to the Setsuno Dining Hall for their meal, Setsuno started them off with a bowl of Garlic Bird Oyakodon, and soon after tasting it Komatsu was able to detect a hint of Seven Flavor Herb in the food, much to Setsuno's surprise.
Anime and Manga Differences[]
- In the anime, rather than detect the herb in the food, Komatsu suggests to Setsuno some of the herb to enhance the flavor.
