The Marking Chameleon is a species of reptile beast that possesses four tongues which allows it to measure the energy level of the cells of other living things.
Anatomy
It is a large pudgy chameleon with stripes all over its body, with four unique and distinctive colorful tongues, six spikes on the top of its head, eight legs and a very long tail. Like any chameleon, it can change into a variety of colors, such as black with light blue stripes, green with yellow stripes and purple with red stripes; its tongues also change into different colors as well as its eyes.
Powers and Abilities
With its ability to measure a creature's physical strength with its tongues, it can determine the strength levels of an animal allowing it to know which creature is the weakest and easiest to prey on or which one it should avoid. Like any chameleon it has the ability to change the color of its skin to adapt to its surrounding.
Measuring Tongs
The IGO scientists developed a device known as the Measuring Tongs which are made using the tongues of Marking Chameleons. The device allows one to measure the capture level of any creature upon physical contact with the tong.
History
Meteor Garlic Arc
Rin mentioned the existence of this beast to Toriko when she showed him her new experimental Measuring Tongs, and even used it to measure Terry Cloth's Capture Level which came back as being over 1000.
