Frohze was the legendary holy chef, known as the "Chef God" or "God of Chefs", who formed a combo with the equally-legendary "Bishokuya God", Acacia. Due to this and his amazing culinary achievements in life, he is renowned as the greatest chef in history, hence his title, having been able to prepare all of the holy and phantasmal ingredients in Acacia's Full Course Menu.

HistoryEdit

PastEdit

Little is known about Frohze's past or of his life as the holy chef, what little is known is that he was Acacia's combo partner and helped prepare many of the ingredients in his Full Course Menu, and was likely a man of great power much like his partner. He was also said to have made his chopping board and other various tools out of Bishoku Cedar trees which would be part of the future location of the Gourmet Temple were his partner Acacia would be honored and worshiped. [1]

In his last moments, Frohze was said to have died while facing a cutting board with a kitchen knife in hand. His death would go on to inspire legendary chefs Setsuno and Zaus, believing that chefs only truly "retire" when they die and that chefs must continue to cook as long as people keep eating.[2]

LegacyEdit

Due to his amazing, culinary achievements alongside Acacia, he is recognized as the greatest chef in history and was honored with the title of "Chef God" by the world. He continues to be remembered along with Acacia by chefs who revere him and by the Gourmet Temple which continues to honor his memory by preserving the Bishoku Cedar forest where he crafted his legendary equipment. Despite his great legacy, he does not have his own shrine within the Gourmet Temple and there isn't much evidence shown that he is revered or worshiped in the same way as Acacia.[3]

Melk Stardust ArcEdit

After Melk the First, the world famous artisan saw Komatsu's kitchen knife he was very impressed, as the only other knife he had ever seen to have shocked and amazed him so was the knife of chef Frohze himself. The only others ever matching up to his knives' standards were those of "Chef King" Zaus and "Gourmet National Treasure" Setsuno.[4]

Toriko's Break ArcEdit

Toriko and Komatsu paid a visit to the Gourmet Temple to pay their respects to Acacia. While there they managed to visit the Bishoku Cedar forest which left both in awe.[5]
