Personality[]

He is a wise and kind man, and due to his position as caretaker of Gourmet Temple he seems to know a lot about Food Luck and has a great deal of faith in Acacia and can tell when someone has great fortune and potential. He also believes that it is better to share food than to covet it.[1]

History[]

Toriko's Break Arc[]

He is seen watching Komatsu pulling out the knife during the Food Man contest and Toriko winning the Gourtree Fruit contest. Upon seeing them share their prizes and their Food Luck with everyone present, Pahpoh is reminded of food's importance in life and compliments their generosity and their willingness to share their Food Luck with those around them. He then wonders if Toriko and Komatsu may inherit Acacia's will.

Autumn Break Arc[]

After the Gourmet Temple's supply of Chitose Ame ran out for the upcoming Shichi-Go-San Festival, Pahpoh made a request to Toriko and Komatsu and asked them to be the Food Men for the festival and to seek out the key ingredient in making the Chitose Ame, the Longevity Sugarcane. The two agree upon arriving to the temple.

AIR Arc[]

A year and a half after the fall of the Meteor Spice, he was one of the many people who went to the World Kitchen to say their goodbyes to the Four Heavenly Kings and Komatsu before they set off to Gourmet World.
