The Kaiser Guardian is a giant green insect beast that appears in Toriko: Gourmet Survival and its sequel Toriko: Gourmet Survival 2. Tommyrod also bred these insects for combat.

Anatomy[]

The Kaiser Guardian is a large insectoid arthropod with a green exoskeleton that is covered in many spots and odd-colored markings. It has a long segmented body that is very sharp and pointy and has rows of spikes coming out of the sides of its body. It also has six pointy legs and four scythe-like claws. It has a very fierce and demonic appearance, with dark yellow eyes that turn red when enraged, a v-shaped brow that gives it a feral appearance and a large and wide maw filled with sharp yellow teeth that can open to a great size to swallow large prey. Also of note is a large gland-like protrusion growing under its chin which appears to be the only part of its body not covered by its exoskeleton, making it somewhat of a weak spot.

Powers and Abilities[]

It is a strong and agile beast capable of delivering swift and deadly blows with its many scythe-like claws and if it raises itself high enough it can deal out even stronger strikes with its claws. Its great jaw can easily bite through almost any foe's defenses, making its sharp teeth a deadly weapon. Its exoskeleton also endows it with a good deal of endurance, capable of taking powerful hits only to stand up from them soon after, but continued attacks especially in its exposed growth will eventually subdue it. It also capable of spitting out a ball-shaped substance from its mouth that bursts upon impact with its opponent. It is also shown that it can roll itself up into a ball in midair to strike foes when it lands with its curled up body.
