|[v · t · e]|
The Aged Ape is a strange and elderly species of chimpanzee with an upright posture, a long flowing hair and beard, large monkey ears, and a large flap-like tail which looks like a cape.
Its face is oddly humanoid, resembling the typical caricature of an old man with a bulbous nose, numerous wrinkles, droopy eyes and many liver spots.
This species appears to be quite cranky but posses great wisdom due to its advanced age. A member of this species was shown to be good friends with an Iai-Aye and also served as a brave ally that was willing to help the Four Heavenly Kings in their training.
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Being a primate of the "Monkey Restaurant", this species is skilled in the monkey martial art of Enbu, a special style of combat only known to the primates of Area 7 and one Aged Ape's skill in this martial art is so great that it is ranked as a Rank 7-Dan Enbu practitioner, just below the Enbu Assistant Masters. Like many of the primates in Area 7, this species is incredibly tough and can survive deadly attacks and regenerate lost tissue, and when receiving damage their strength can temporarily go up. Having a capture level of 1050, the Age Ape is a very powerful creature and has one of the highest capture levels on Area 7. Its old age also likely endows it with much experience and wisdom that younger primates may lack.
An Aged Ape was one of the many monkeys that were allies of the Iai-Aye that had been accompanying the Four Heavenly Kings and was willing to help in their training to master Enbu. The Aged Ape was paired off against Sunny who appeared to be struggling against the mighty elder.
After PAIR was finally acquired by the Heavenly Kings, many of their monkey allies, including the Aged Ape appeared on 100G Mountain to congratulate them. The Kings and the monkeys then descended back down the mountain on Bambina's Flying Nimbutt and headed for the Birth Cry Tree, where they were happily greeted by a gigantic gathering of now happy and free monkeys.
