The 8th Biotope is one of the many Biotopes maintained by the IGO for research on ingredients, and is south of Toriko's house. This biotope houses the Troll Kongs and the Rainbow Fruit, Toriko's dessert course in his Full Course Meal. It is also the place where Ichiryu hid the Hors d'Oeuvre of his Full Course Menu. The 8th Biotope has also been a victim of several attacks, first having been invaded by Starjun of the Bishokukai who easily infiltrated its security and killed the majority of the Troll Kong population along with stealing all of its Rainbow Fruits, and later on, one of the Four Beasts, Gaoh did a great deal of damage to the Biotope leaving the fate of its remaining beasts and the Biotope's future uncertain.
